For My Family

Family can be so important in our lives. No matter where we live or how often we see them, they are there for us.

Part of the joy of being married is the extension of that family.

I am so fortunate to have in-laws so caring

Jamie's mother Kay could not be nicer to us and was so gracious to include me so warmly in her life. Words can never express the joy of having her. I never had a mother-in-law and feel so grateful to have such a great one. From our first e-mail, first phone call and first meeting, life was just comfortable. We are able to talk and laugh and enjoy each other. We just wish we could see her more or live closer.

We had a wonderful time with Jamie's brother Glenn and his lovely wife, my new sister-in-law Lee-Anne over the holidays. We spent time with Lee-Anne's mother Darlene and the children , Kyle, Jason and Taylor. Again, we were comfortable together the first meeting. Some of you may see Queenie in the chathouse and when you do, please do not tell her all the bad things I do *S* She likes her sister-in-law so far, do not want to spoil my image.*S*

I so enjoyed getting to know my new nephews and niece. They are wonderful children and a very welcome addition to my family.

Not only did I find a wonderful husband but a great family to go with it. What a bonus!

I am very attached to my computer as it allows me to keep in touch with all my loved ones. I miss my daughter Michelle very much and her two children. We write back and forth and talk together this way. Brooke reaches out to touch me when a picture of me is sent. Dylan is too young yet but I plan on training him early on internet use. My hope is to send for them next year for a visit. You may find Moonbeam or ~Michelle~ in Last Call. Nothing bad you can say about me, she has experienced it all first hand. Michelle now lives in Virginia Beach where she says she will remain. We will see how that goes, living around all the military men from the area. *S* I love you all

Also in Virginia Beach are my two oldest grandchildren. Natisha who just turned 15 and Tabitha who is 13. Beautiful girls whom I will share their pictures as soon as they give me permission. Natisha was my first born, and I used to love to spoil her rotten. She was grandmas girl from day one. Tabitha got to spend some time with me during one summer and it was then I realized she shared many of my passions. I could easily make her a child of the earth with her appreciation for the land around her.

I love you both very much even though your many trips abroad with military parents kept us apart, you are always in my heart.

Wanda my step-daughter, and her husband John have been terrific through it all. They are wonderful parents to these girls and I love and respect them both.

My son Bryan, Single now and works far too hard. Sweet and sensitive Bryan who is close to my heart daily. Wish this wonderful man would call or write his mom more, but hey...what can I say? He is a man child? *S* I miss him a lot and hope he finds happiness soon.
